Dacia presented at Geneva the new Sandero that will be produced at Pitesti from may and will be available on the romanian market from June. The car that will be produced in Romania is a derived from Renault Sandero that is produced in Brazil.
Dacia Sandero will have 4.02 meters in length and will have 4 engine variants: 2 on gas (1.4 liters and 75 HP and 1.6 liters and 90 HP) and 2 on diesel (1.5 liters and 75 HP and 1.5 liters and 80 HP).
Dacia Sandero will have a ABS Bosch 8.0 latest generation system, that is used on Megane II and Clio II, and in premiere for Dacia an Brake assist system. Sandero will have 3 years warranty or 100.000 km and will be sold on 40 international markets from Europe to north Africa. The vice president of Dacia Constantin Stroe said that from September Dacia will produce 500-600 Sandero every day.
