Dacia launched this evening the first hatchback and the fifth model created on the Logan platform. After his debut on the main markets of Europe, Sandero arrived today in Romania, and Dacia officially announced the opening of orders for the Romanian hatchback starting tomorrow.
The new Sandero will be available on the market of Romania in five versions equipped with two gas engines, of 1.4 liters and 75 HP 1.6 liters and 90 HP.
The basic version, named Sandero, will have a starting price from 6890 euros and will include the standard equipment for driver: airbags, ABS and AFU (assistance in emergency braking), safety belts for all rear seats.
For more demanding customers there will be the already known versions Ambiance, Preferance and Laureate, which can be equipped with both engines. Sandero Prestige will only be available with 1.6 liters engine with 90 HP.
Francois Fourmont, the general director of Dacia, said that for the diesel engine version of Sandero will be released only next year and the delay was caused by restrictions of the production factory in Pitesti and supplier of diesel engines.
Today, Dacia officials declared to the press that 70% of the units produced in Mioveni factory will be for export, the car manufacturer hoping for a very high demand in Europe.
