One million Dacia Logan sold
The launching of Sandero opens a new horizon for Dacia and Renault. Thus, after the end of April they announced the sale of 951,337 Logan units (of which 294,337 under the Renault brand), Dacia managed to reach the one million mark of cars sold worldwide.
Available from February in Brazil, under the Renault logo, Sandero has already been launched in Romania and will be launched on June 20 in all other European markets.
According to Dacia president, Francois Fourmont, the year 2008 will bring 300,000 units of Logan produced at Mioveni (in 2007 were produced only 222,000 cars), but there is the possibility that, depending on requests, the number of produced cars will increase to 400,000. Total production capacity in all the seven countries that produce the Logan is 955,000 units, and will increase to 1.13 million in 2009.
