Renault presented today on its official site the first photos of the first ever SUV created by Dacia using the architecture of Sandero.
Presented now under the logo of Renault, Stepway – the official name of the model – will be revealed in Paris under the name of Dacia. Renault is calling Stepway “a Variant Urban Sport” for Sandero and will follow it’s production, which in the first phase was introduced in Brazil and only after several months came in Romania. At the launch in the South American market, Renault Stepway will benefit from a single engine, which most certainly will not power the model which will be presented in Romania: Hi-Flex 1.6 with 16v and 112 HP.
Most likely, the engine that will power the future Dacia Stepway will be the one used on the top version of Sandero Prestige: 1.6 with 16v and 105 HP.
